DEDLINE is an independent artist management platform built by Emily Regal. We help independent artists, producers, and creatives plan, manage, and execute their music releases.

Information you give us

• Account information: Your email address and password when you sign up.
• Profile information: Your role (artist, producer, or both), set during onboarding.
• Release data: Everything you add to DEDLINE — release titles, roadmap tasks, budget items, content planning notes, session notes, brainstorm content, calendar events, team member details, and any files you upload (images, cover art, press photos).
• Communications: Notes and comments you leave inside the app.

Information we collect automatically

• Usage data: Which features you use, when you log in, and general activity within the app. We use this to improve DEDLINE.
• Device information: Browser type, operating system, and general location (country/region level only) to ensure the app works correctly on your device.

Information from third parties

• Authentication: We use Supabase for account management and secure login. Your password is never stored in plain text.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your DEDLINE account
• Store and sync your release data across your devices
• Send you account-related emails (verification, password reset)
• Improve and develop DEDLINE over time
• Respond to support requests

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for targeted advertising or profiling. We do not run advertising on DEDLINE. We do not share your personal information with third parties except as described in this policy.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which uses industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Uploaded files are stored in Supabase Storage. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, but no system is 100% secure — if you have concerns, contact us.

DEDLINE is currently operated from the United States. If you are outside the US, your data may be transferred to and processed in the US.

We keep your account and release data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep it for legal reasons.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct any inaccurate information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Export your data (contact us and we'll help)
• Opt out of non-essential communications

To exercise any of these rights, email us at dedline.theapp@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. If we deny your request, we will tell you why. You may appeal a denial by emailing us with the subject line "Privacy Request Appeal" — we will respond to appeals within 30 days. If your appeal is denied, you may submit a complaint to the Tennessee Attorney General's office.

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you also have rights under GDPR. If you are in California, you have rights under CCPA. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

DEDLINE uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management (keeping you logged in). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

DEDLINE is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or with a notice in the app before the changes take effect. Your continued use of DEDLINE after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
